CHERISH - A group exhibition by the Síol Art Collective
Síol Art Collective’s debut exhibition, Cherish, explores what we hold dear, value, treasure, protect, remember and transform. Eight artists showcase paintings, sculptures, videos and textiles reflecting lived experiences in the world, asserting the optimism captured in Síol, the Gaelic word for seed – that humanity continues to generate precious things to be guarded, celebrated, cherished.
Síol is a multi-ethnic collective of artists from different parts of Ireland. While many of the artists have exhibited individually, Síol Collective offers a collaborative framework to broaden their diverse artistic expressions of issues they hold passionately.
