A hosted page on The Art Room for working visual artists.
Showcase is the studio’s entry-level offering. It’s a single page at theartroom.ie/artists/your-name, built by us from materials you submit, hosted on our infrastructure, and linked to your own sites and socials.
It exists for artists who want a real web presence without running a website themselves. We do the design, we do the build, we keep it online.
Our editorial criteria
The Showcase is curated. Acceptance is based on these criteria. They’re the basis for both accepting and declining applications.
- Working visual artists with a coherent body of work. At least six finished pieces you’d put on a page.
- Active practice in the last two years.
- Original work. No AI-generated images, no reposting of others’ work.
- Practice aligned with the studio’s editorial sensibility: fine art over commercial photography, stock, or template-style work.
- Final acceptance at The Art Room’s discretion. Not every application will land. That’s by design.
The terms
€150 one-time setup, then €50/year to renew. The setup fee covers the build of your page. The annual renewal covers hosting, foundational SEO, and one full content refresh.
Any updates outside of the annual refresh are €10 each. After the page is published, you have 48 hours to request revisions at no extra cost.
Founding member rate: the first ten members pay €100 setup instead of €150. Same €50 renewal as everyone else. Ten places remaining.
